Appointments can be made by calling at the reception or by telephone request.
If your condition is urgent you will be seen the same day, otherwise you will be offered a choice of appointment times.
Emergencies take priority at all times.
Irrespective of whom you are registered with, you may see any doctor in the partnership.
Every doctor has a number of appointments on each day, some of these are "pre-bookable" and some are only bookable "on the day". This is to try and balance our appointments between patients who wish to book an advance appointment and those who need to be seen on the day.
The "pre-bookable" appointments can be booked up to one month in advance.
There are also telephone appointments available each day. If you feel you need to speak to a GP and perhaps be assisted over the phone rather than seeing a GP, please ask reception to book a telephone appointment. The appointments are after the morning surgery. You will either be asked to phone the surgery at a certain time, or you will receive a phone call.
It is our aim to offer all patients an appointment within 48 hours.
Please make a separate appointment for each person to be seen and inform reception if you have more than one problem to discuss with the Doctor.
Please keep your appointment. If you are unable to attend, please notify the reception desk. On arrival please report to the reception desk before being seated.
On arrival please report to the reception desk before being seated.
Our Practice is research active
Conducting high-quality clinical research helps us to keep improving NHS care by finding out which treatments work best.
In this practice, you might be asked to take part in a clinical research study. Alternatively, ask our staff about clinical studies suitable for you.
Talking part in a clinical research study is voluntary and can be a rewarding experience.
